Gear consists of weapons, accessories, attire, and techniques that characters can equip and provide attribute boosts while they are equipped. It is important to note that attribute bonuses on weapons equipped still take effect, whether you are using that weapon or not. Gear can be purchased from shops with gil, found as loot throughout the world as scattered items you can pick up, drops from killing monsters, or as rewards from quests. The party's gear can be adjusted in the Main Menu in the Gear section.
